This is one of my favorite places in the world. Pacific Grove, or PG as the locals call it, is just north of Monterey and about 40 miles south of Santa Cruz, where I live. My husband and I like to take the kids there for picnics and bike rides along the esplanade. Sometimes we go by ourselves for some much needed time alone.
