The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Exploration Center, currently under construction near the wharf in Santa Cruz, is still in need of $300,000 in order to complete the project. The center is slated to open next summer and promises to amaze, delight and educate visitors on the many living wonders of the sea. It will have interactive multimedia exhibits of the ocean and watersheds, a theatre with real-time underwater video and… get this, a life-size simulated kelp forest. Way cool. Ten percent of the profits from the sale of my cards will be donated to the center. You may also contribute directly here.
