Living in Santa Cruz is a blast for sure. We love it. The warm weather, the gorgeous scenery and the world famous surf that is so cold you would never dare enter without first donning a wearing a wetsuit. I’m continually amused and fascinated whenever I head down to the beach and see surfers either suiting up or disrobing out of their wetsuits. It’s quite a skill I am told, one that is usually performed while wrapped in a beach towel. It is amazing the lengths one will go to catch a wave. The paper reported this morning that big swells are coming. Just in time for Maverick’s Surf Contest.
